Ok, we're in the middle of May and it is 52 degrees out and raining. I'm cold, stuck in an office and need music to get me going through the day. So far I've listened to:
Whitest Boy Alive - Having the front man of Kings of Convenience is reason enough to listen, but they "started as an electronic dance music project" and have "developed into a band without any programmed elements."
Cat Power - I think I've spoken already about how much I love her, but her pain-staking, sultry and soulful voice helps me get through times like these.
Neither choice has helped to lift my spirits, but they fit the mood of this rainy day. D Man told me that he had been listening to "Sour Girl" by STP on repeat.
