Temper Trap

After yesterday's long post, I'll keep this short. Here is a band I think everyone will love, and indie enthusiasts everywhere have started raving about these Australians for the last few months. My friend Lebron introduced Temper Trap to me two months ago, and played their heart-filled single:

Sweet Disposition - This song has so many awesome elements - an extended, built up crescendo to complement a painstakingly melodic voice. The song flows into a very passionate, higher energy lyrics and sound defined by the high-pitched front man and acapella, layered back-up voices. Sweet Disposition will be a top 5 "new song" for everyone this year if it isn't already, and I guarantee you won't be able to stop listening to this song.

Love Lost - I'm really just paying attention to this song now. While it is a much softer song with fun-hand clapping mixed in with a few moments the singer stretches his falsetto into a louder and passionate emotion-filled melody.

The more I listen, the more I enjoy these guys. Temper Trap really stays true to the sappiness of their album, and with that I wish Pri and Schim City a happy and sappy birthday! Enjoy.
